How to add a product or service from the sales screen

From the sales screen, you can add a single product or a service. This method allows you to add the product/service and complete the sale instantly, while automatically adding it to the product list.


Add a product/service from the sales screen

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Enter the product name in the search field.

  4. Click Add Product.

  5. Enter the following details:

    • Product SKU.

    • Sales price per unit.

      ⚠️ Make sure VAT settings are configured on the platform before adding the price. For more details, [click here].

  6. If the product has no quantity or cost:

    • Click Create and Add to Cart.

    • Complete the invoice steps.

  7. If the product has quantity and cost:

    • Uncheck the option Disable Stock Management.

    • Add product quantity.

    • Enter product cost (per unit, excluding VAT).

    • Click Create and Add to Cart.

    • Complete the invoice steps.

1. Can I view the details of a product added from the sales screen?

Yes, follow these steps:

  1. Click the arrow next to the product details.

  2. Click Show Product Details.

  3. Product details will appear in the Products section.

2. Can I set user permissions for accessing product details from the sales screen?

Yes, you can:

  1. Go to Settings > Users > ⚙️ > Edit User.

  2. Under User Permissions > Apps > Rewaa New POS.

  3. turn off all permissions related to product details.

  4. Click Save User Data.
