Learn About Sales Interfaces on the Rewaa

Choose the right sales interface to display your products and learn how to use each one.

The Rewaa platform offers two sales interfaces for the sales screen: the Image-Based Sales Interface and the Classic Sales Interface.

Each interface has specific features for displaying products on the cashier screen. You can customize the interface for each sales register based on your business type and products.


1. Image-Based Sales Interface

This is the default interface for all sales registers. It displays products based on categories and images you’ve previously added in the Products section.

It also allows you to search for products manually or using a barcode scanner.

How to Use the Image-Based Sales Interface

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Select a category from the top bar on the screen.

  4. Tap the product you want.

  5. Tap the product or the ( + ) icon to add the required quantity.

To Add Extra Options to a Product

  1. Tap the required product.

  2. The extra options window will appear. Select the options you want.

  3. Enter the extra option quantity manually or tap it multiple times.

  4. Tap Add to Order.

  5. Complete the invoice steps.


2. Classic Sales Interface

This interface relies on barcode scanners or manual product search.

Steps to Enable the Classic Sales Interface

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Make sure the required sales register is closed.

  3. Click Settings for the selected sales register.

  4. Click Sell Layout.

  5. Turn off Show products with pictures.

  6. Click Save Changes.

How to Use the Classic Sales Interface

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Search for the product using the search field.

  4. Tap the product name.

  5. Add the quantity manually, or scan the product barcode again.

To Add Extra Options to a Product

  1. Tap the arrow next to the Total Price column.

  2. Go to Extra Options.

  3. Add the quantity for the extra option.

  4. Complete the invoice steps.


Add a New Sales Layout

(You can add more than one sales interface and assign each one to a sales register as needed.)

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Selling Screen.

  2. Click Create New Layout.

  3. Enter the Layout Name.

  4. Select the categories and products that will appear on the cashier sales screen.

  5. Click Save.

FAQs

  1. How can I set up a barcode scanner to use it on the platform?

    Barcode scanner setup depends on the device type. Refer to the user manual that comes with your scanner to connect it to the cashier device, then use it on the Rewaa platform. For more help, contact technical support via live chat on the platform or WhatsApp.

  2. Can I change the sales interface at any time?

    Yes. Make sure the sales register is closed, then select the interface you want.

  3. If I change the sales interface from the main account, will it change for user accounts?

    Yes. Any changes made to the register apply automatically to all linked user accounts.

  4. Can I permanently delete a sales interface?

    Yes. Go to:

    • Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Selling Screen.

    • Click the three dots next to the interface name.

    • Click Delete to confirm.

    • Only the sales interface will be deleted. The sales register will not be removed.

  5. Can I change the selling price from the sales screen?

    Yes:

    • Classic Sales Interface: Tap the price field and enter the new price.

    • Image-Based Sales Interface: Tap the arrow on the left side of the screen next to the product details, then enter the new price.

    ℹ️ Note:

    Changing the price from the sales screen does not affect the product price in inventory.

    ℹ️ Note:

    If the new price is lower than the inventory price, it’s counted as a product discount and appears as a discount on the invoice.

  6. Can I change the price of extra options from the sales screen?

    No. Extra option prices can only be changed from the Products section.

  7. Do extra options appear on the kitchen receipt?

    Yes. Extra options appear on the kitchen receipt.

  8. How can I remove an extra option after adding it to a product on the sales screen?

    Set the quantity to (0) in the extra option quantity field.

  9. I added a product to the sales screen. How can I remove it?

    • Tap the 🗑️ icon to remove the product.

    • Tap the 🗑️ icon on the left side of the screen to remove all products from the sales screen.

  10. How can I add product images?

    • Go to Products & Inventory > Products.

    • Click the product name to open its details.

    • Upload images in the designated area.

    • Click Save.
