How to Use the Wallet in Rewaa

The Wallet helps you track the balance of both cash and bank amounts for all transactions carried out on Rewaa. Knowing the balance allows you to make better financial decisions such as paying amounts owed to suppliers, preparing for tax payments or penalties, and more. In this article, we explain everything related to the Wallet.


Accessing Wallet Details

  1. Go to Accounting > Expenses > Summary.

  2. The following details will appear:

    • Wallet Balance: cash and bank amounts collected.

    • Options to add or withdraw balance from the Wallet.

⚠️ Note: Adding or withdrawing amounts from the Wallet does not affect reports such as Net Profit, Sales, Purchases, or Operating Expenses.

Add Balance to the Wallet

  1. Click Add Funds.

  2. Enter the amount.

  3. Select a category or add a new category (+).

  4. Click Add Funds.

Withdraw Balance from the Wallet

  1. Click Withdraw.

  2. Enter the amount.

  3. Select a category or add a new category (+).

  4. Click Withdraw.

Track Wallet Transactions

  • Click View All Transactions to see:

    • Transaction date

    • Type

    • Performed by

    • Amount

    • Balance

Access the Wallet Dashboard

  1. Go to Accounting > Expenses > Summary.

  2. Go to Statistics Overview.

  3. Select the time period.

  4. You’ll see the following data:

    • Net Income: After deducting returns and excluding tax.

    • Top Expenses by Category

    • Total sales (Tax not included)

    • Cost of Sales (Tax not included)

    • Returns (Tax not included)

    • Operating Expenses (Tax not included)

    • Net Tax payable or refundable

💡 To calculate VAT manually, click Calculate Tax Yourself and enter the following data:

  • Total Sales (The amount should be tax inclusive)

  • Total Cost Of Goods Sold (The amount should be tax inclusive)

  • Total Operating Expenses (The amount should be tax inclusive)

  • Then click Tax Calculate.

  • If the amount appears in red: VAT is payable to ZATCA.

  • If the amount appears in green: VAT is refundable from ZATCA.

  • If Total Sales = Total Purchases + Total Operating Expenses: no VAT is due.

Yes, Wallet add and withdraw transactions are recorded in Journal Entries.

2. Can I export Wallet details?

Yes, you can. Go to:

  • Reports > Finance > Wallet Transactions.

  • Select the time period and transaction type.

  • Click Export to download an Excel file.
