Rewaa provides you with a comprehensive summary of everything related to Value Added Tax (VAT) based on the operations you carried out on the platform. This summary helps you easily disclose your tax report. All you need to do is copy the data from the report in Rewaa and insert it into the ZATCA form dedicated for submitting your tax declaration on the authority’s website.
ℹ️ Note: The tax declaration must be submitted electronically through the ZATCA platform.
Accessing the Report
Go to Reports > Taxes > Tax Declaration.
Click on the report to view details.
Setting the Time Period
Click Filter.
Select the required time period.
Click Apply.

Standard Rated Sales (15%):
Amount: Total amount of your standard rated sales {Tax Exclusive, excluding zero rated sales} during the selected period.
Adjustment: Total amount of your standard rated sales returns during {Tax Exclusive, excluding zero rated sales} the selected period.

VAT Zero Rate Sales (0%)
Amount: Total amount of zero rated sales during the selected period.
Adjustment: Total amount of sales returns during the selected period
Purchases
Standard Rated Domestic Purchases (15%):
Amount: Total amount of purchase invoices and expenses during the selected period.
Adjustment: Total amount of your return stock invoices during the selected period.

VAT Zero Rate Purchases (0%)
Amount: : Total amount of zero rated purchase invoices and expenses during the selected period.
Adjustment: Adjustment: Total amount of your zero rated return stock invoices during the selected period.

Manual Adjustments to VAT
These values represent the manual adjustments made by the user to the VAT account.
VAT Output (Credit): These adjustments do not include any automatically recorded sales or purchase invoices.
VAT Input (Debit): e adjustments do not include any automatically recorded sales or purchase invoices.
Tax Amount.
ℹ️ Note: These details appear if there are journal entries recorded on the VAT account during the selected reporting period.
Net VAT for the specified period
The difference between output VAT and input VAT, including manual adjustments and journal entries. Calculated as: (VAT on Sales) – (VAT on Purchases) + (Net VAT from Manual Entries = Credit – Debit).
Exporting the Report
Click Export.
To export as Excel: choose xlsx.
To export as PDF: choose pdf.
The file will be downloaded to your device.

Can I submit the tax declaration directly from Rewaa?
No, the tax declaration must be submitted through the ZATCA website. It cannot be submitted from Rewaa.Do tobacco fees reflect in the tax declaration?
No, tobacco fees (100%) are imposed by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and are not included in the tax declaration. The declaration is dedicated to ZATCA VAT (15%) only.Can I export the report for a specific tax period?
