The Home Page gives you a full overview of your business performance and helps you monitor sales and make informed financial decisions to keep your operations running smoothly.
ACCESSING THE HOME PAGE
Click the first option in the left-hand menu of the screen.
DATA FILTER OPTIONS
Branch: Select the branch from the “Branches” filter.
Time Period: Select a date range (up to 3 months).
Time of Day: Choose the time to display specific data insights.
ℹ️ Branch filters do not apply to: Last Sales, Activity Log, Registers.
ℹ️ Date range filters do not apply to: Inventory Valu, Last Sales, Activity Log, Registers.
SALES OVERVIEW
Sales: Total sales (Tax Inclusive) for the selected period. You can also view last month’s sales and set a monthly sales goal.
Sales Transactions: Total number of sales invoices (returns not included).
Example: You issued 147 invoices and had 1 return. The total shown will be 147 transactions.Gross Profit: Total sales(Tax Exclusive) minus the cost of goods sold.
Net Income: Total sales (Tax Exclusive), minus the cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and damaged inventory costs from stock counts.
ℹ️ Cost of goods sold (COGS) is calculated using the average cost method based on the initial product cost and any purchase order updates.
⚠️ Net income is not calculated for service items or products with inventory tracking disabled.

Sales by Selected Period (Returns Not Deducted)
Example:
Total Sales Today: SAR 537.01
Transactions: 8
Returns: SAR 0
If a return is made, only the returns value will change; total sales in the chart will remain unchanged.
Sales by Top-Selling Products (Returns Deducted)
Example:
A product sold for SAR 58 (including tax), with 7 transactions = SAR 406
After 1 return, the chart shows SAR 348 with 6 transactions.
Sales by Top-Selling Categories (Returns Deducted)
Example:
Total sales = SAR 500
Return = SAR 16
Sales displayed = SAR 484
Sales by Branch with Inventory Value (Returns Not Deducted)
Example:
Branch sales = SAR 2,583.99
Returns = SAR 100
Displayed sales = SAR 2,583.99 (returns not deducted)
Sales by Sellers (After Returns)
Example:
Sales for “Mohammed” = SAR 300
Return = SAR 10
Displayed sales = SAR 290

Do manual journal entries affect net income on the Home Page?
No, manual entries do not impact net income or any other numbers on the platform.
Why is the “Sales by Salesmen” chart empty?
Make sure the Seller feature is enabled via:
Sales & Customers > POS Sales Settings.
Can I view inventory value for a specific past day?
No, inventory value reflects the current value only.
Can I control user permissions for accessing the Home Page?
Yes, go to:
1. Settings > Users > Edit Member.
2. User Permissions > Dashboard.
3. Enable the appropriate access and click Save.
How can I verify the cost of goods sold used in Net Income?
1. Set the same date range on the Home Page.
2. Go to: Reports > Inventory > Product Performance Report.
3. Match the period and review the Cost of Goods Sold column.
