How to Add a Salesman’s Name to the Invoice

Learn how to add and enable a salesman’s name on the invoice and track their sales easily.

You can add a salesman’s name (sales representative) to the invoice before issuing it, allowing you to track the total sales for each salesman individually.


Step 1: Add the salesman’s details to the platform

  1. Go to Settings > Users > Add New User.

  2. Enter the basic details:

    • Username (salesman’s name)

    • Phone (optional)

    • Valid email address not previously used on the platform

    • Work location (branch)

    • Password and Confirm Password

ℹ️ The salesman does not need to log in to the platform for their name to appear on the invoice. If login is required later, they can use the email and password you set in the previous steps.

3. Assign the salesman’s permissions:

  • Click Custom in the user permissions.

  • Go to Applications > rewaa new pos > Cashier.

  • Click Add New User.


Step 2: Enable the salesman option

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales.

  2. Enable the Salesman option.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Go to Receipts.

  5. Check the box for Salesman.

  6. Click Save.


Step 3: Add the salesman’s name to the invoice

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Click the Salesman option on the right side of the screen.

  4. Select the salesman’s name from the list.

  5. Complete the invoice process — the salesman’s name will be printed on the invoice.


Track each salesman’s sales accurately

  • From the Dashboard:

    1. Click the chart > Salesmen.

    2. Sales values will be shown after deducting returns (if any).

      Example: If Mohammed’s sales are 915 SAR and a product worth 40 SAR was returned, sales will appear as 875 SAR.

  • From Reports:

    1. Go to Reports > Sales > Sales By User.

    2. The report will show sales details for each salesman. Click here for more details.

1. What’s the difference between a username and a salesman name?

  • Username: The account owner who opened the register and issued the invoice. Always appears on the invoice.

  • Salesman name: The sales representative you select manually. Can be changed for each invoice.

2. Can I set a fixed salesman name for all invoices?

No, you must select the salesman’s name manually for each invoice.

3. Can I change the salesman name before issuing the invoice?

Yes, click the added salesman name and select another salesman.
