How to Know the Sales of Each Product

Learn how to use the Product Performance Report and export it to Excel.

This report helps you evaluate the performance of each product individually, identify best-selling and most profitable items, and make informed decisions on supplier purchases, promotional planning, and inventory management to maximize profit.

ℹ️ Notes:

  • This report does not include shipping or cash-on-delivery fees from e-commerce integrations.

  • Deleted products are not included in the report data.

Accessing the Report

  1. Go to Reports > Inventory > Product Performance Report.

  2. Click on the report to view the details.

Searching in the Report

  • Enter the product name or SKU in the search field.

Filtering Results

  1. Click Filter.

  2. You can filter results by:

    • Time period

    • Supplier name

    • Brand

    • Category

    • Location

  3. Click Apply.

Sorting Data

  • Click the Sort By field and choose the preferred option to display report data.

Report Sections

  • Summary: Shows the total sales and profit for all products.

  • Details: Displays detailed data for each product.

Report Data

Product Name / SKU

Based on the data entered in the Products section.

Today’s Available Quantity

Current available quantity in the Products section on Rewaa.

Supplier / Brand / Category

Based on the product details you assigned in the Products section.

Location

The branch where the sale occurred.

Sales

Total completed sales (excluding Tax), minus returns and discounts.

Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

Total cost of sold products, minus the cost of returned items.

Gross Margin

Net sales (excluding Tax) minus COGS.

Total Tax

Total Tax collected for taxable products across all rates.

Sales (Tax Inclusive)

Total completed sales including Tax, minus returns and discounts.

Markup

(Sales – COGS) ÷ COGS.

Margin %

(Sales – COGS) ÷ Sales.

Sold Quantity

Quantity sold before deducting returns.

Purchased Quantity

Total quantity purchased through purchase invoices (manual stock adjustments not included).

Returned Quantity

Total quantity of returned items.

ℹ️ The table contains multiple columns. Use the scrollbar at the bottom to view all fields.


Exporting the Report

  1. Click Export.

  2. To export detailed report data: select xlsx.

  3. To export summary only: select Summary xlsx.

  4. The Excel file will be downloaded to your device.


FAQs

1. Can I check the sales of a specific product in one branch?

Yes. Click Filter > Select the branch > Apply.

2. How can I view sales for all products across all branches since the first recorded transaction?

Do not select a time period or filters. The report will display the total sales.

3. Can I track the sales of a specific category?

Yes. Click Filter > Enter the category name > Apply.

4. How do I identify the Highest products?

Use the Sort By field and choose Highest First.

5. How can I check the number of products sold during a specific time period?

Click Filter > Select the time period > Apply.

6. Why are some data points missing from the report?

Use the scrollbar at the bottom of the table to view all fields, or click Export to see all data in Excel.

7. How can I identify slow-moving products that were never sold or not sold within a certain period?

Use the Obsolete Inventory Report to find these products.
