Track Your Sales by Customer

Learn how to use the Sales Report by Customer and export it to Excel.

This report helps you identify your most loyal customers and track the total sales and profits generated from each one, whether through your physical branches or online stores integrated with Rewaa (Salla, Zid).


Accessing the Report

  1. Go to Reports > Sales > Sales Report by Customer.

  2. Click on the report to view the details.

Searching in the Report

  • Enter the customer’s name or phone number in the search field.

Filtering Results

  1. Click Filter.

  2. You can filter results by:

    • Time period

    • Customer name

    • Customer phone number

    • Location

  3. Click Apply.

Sorting Data

Click the Sort By field and choose the preferred option to display report data.

Report Sections

  • Summary: Displays the total sales and profit per customer.

  • Details: Displays all transactions for each customer based on the selected filters.

Report Data

Customer Name

The customer’s name as defined on the invoice.

Customer Phone Number

Based on the number saved in the customer’s profile.

Location

The branch where the customer made the purchase.

Sales

Total completed sales (excluding Tax), minus returns and discounts.

Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

Total cost of goods sold to the customer, minus the cost of returned products.

Profit Value

Net sales (excluding Tax) minus COGS.

Sales Including VAT

Total completed sales (including Tax), minus returns and discounts.

Quantity Sold

Total quantity of products purchased by the customer (before returns).

Quantity Returned

Total quantity of products returned by the customer.

ℹ️ The table contains multiple columns. Use the scrollbar at the bottom to view all fields.

Exporting the Report

  1. Click Export.

  2. To export detailed report data: select xlsx.

  3. To export summary only: select Summary xlsx.

  4. The Excel file will be downloaded to your device.


FAQs

1. Why do some customer names appear more than once in the report?

This means the customer purchased from multiple branches. You can identify the branches in the location column.

2. Can I view the customer’s invoices from this report?

No, this report only shows total sales and profits. To view invoices:

  • Go to Sales & Customers > Customers > Search for the customer’s name > Click the customer’s icon > Customer Invoices.

3. Can I track a customer’s sales for a full year?

Yes. From the Sales Report by Customer:

  • Click Filter > Select the time period > Enter the customer’s name > Apply.
