How to Delete or Deactivate a Sales Register

Learn how to delete or temporarily deactivate sales registers when needed.

From the sales register settings, you can delete a register that is no longer in use or temporarily deactivate it to stop sales transactions. This feature helps you organize and control your sales operations.


Delete a Sales Register

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Make sure the register you want to delete is closed.

  3. Click Settings > Delete Register.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.


Deactivate a Sales Register

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Make sure the register you want to deactivate is closed.

  3. Click Settings > Deactivate Register.

  4. Click Deactivate to confirm.


Reactivate a Sales Register

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.

  2. Click Settings next to the register you want to reactivate.

  3. Click Activate Register.

  4. Click Activate to confirm.
