After adding a sales register, you can update its details at any time, including the name, cashier, payment methods, printer type, or sales layout.
⚠️ Note: The register must be closed before making any changes. If possible, it’s recommended to update the settings after the shift ends to keep registers organized in Cash Management.
Change the register name
Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.
Make sure the register is closed.
Click Settings.
Click the ✏️ icon next to the register name.
Edit the name and click Save changes.
Change the cashier for the register
Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.
Make sure the register is closed.
Click Settings.
Click the arrow next to Assign Cashiers.
Select the cashier and click Save changes.
ℹ️ Notes:
The main account always has access to all registers and cannot be removed.
Only users with Cashier permission in this branch will appear.
If the cashier doesn’t appear, check permissions via: Settings > Users > Edit User.
To add or edit a cashier account: Settings > Users > Edit User.
Add or remove a payment method
Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.
Make sure the register is closed.
Click Settings.
Click the arrow next to Payment methods.
Select or deselect the payment method and click Save changes.
ℹ️ To create a new payment method:
Click New payment method to go to the Payment Methods page.
Enter the required details.
Return to the register settings and select the new method.
Edit the printer type
Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.
Make sure the register is closed.
Click Settings.
Click the arrow next to Printer type.
Select the printer and click Save changes.
ℹ️ Notes:
The selected printer applies only to this register.
To change the printer type for all registers: Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Receipts > Print layouts.
Edit the sales layout
Go to Sales & Customers > Points of Sale.
Make sure the register is closed.
Click Settings.
Click the arrow next to Sales layout.
Select the layout and click Save changes.
ℹ️ Sales layout options:
Classic design: Barcode-based.
Customized: Category- and image-based, created in Inventory.
To add a new image layout:
Click Create Sell Layout.
Enter the required details.
Return to register settings and select the new layout.

Does the register name appear on the sales invoice?
Yes, it appears at the top of the invoice.
Can I change register settings from the Rewaa Cashier app?
No, register settings can only be updated from the platform via a web browser.
I added a payment method, but it doesn’t appear in the register. Why?
Make sure you selected the correct register and repeat the steps.
