Stock Count is the process of counting the actual product quantities in your warehouses and branches and matching them with the quantities recorded in Rewaa. Using the Stock Count feature helps you ensure your inventory data is always accurate.

Information Before You Start
If the counted quantity is less than the available quantity in Rewaa, this means you will perform a stock out.
Composite products do not appear in Stock Count because they are calculated based on their components.
💡 Example: You have a composite product named (Cake), which contains oil, eggs, flour, and other products. You need to count these products, as any change in their quantities will directly affect the composite product.
Steps to Perform a Stock Count
1. Go to:
Products & Inventory > Stock Count > Create Stock Count
2. Add Stock Count details:
Location: The branch where you are performing the Stock Count.
Stock Count name and date: Appears automatically but can be edited as needed.
Notes (if any).
3. Start Stock Count:
Manual Stock Count
Search for the product name or SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).
Enter the actual quantities you have in the Counted field.
If the product is tracked, click the Count button in the Counted column.
Products tracked by batch number:
Add the available quantity in the Quantity column for each batch.
Click Save.
Products tracked by serial number:
A list of serial numbers in Rewaa’s inventory will appear.
Check (✔) the serial numbers you have.Click Save.
Stock Count with a barcode scanner
Click the barcode icon next to the search field.
Place the cursor in the empty field.
Scan the product barcode.
Press Enter.
Scan the barcode multiple times to increase the quantity, or click the (🖋️) icon to adjust the quantity manually.
Click Add to Stock Count.
Stock Count with an Excel file
Click Export Products.
Select the file format (XLSX).
An Excel file will be downloaded to your device containing product names and SKUs for all branch products.
Enter the actual (counted) quantity in the Quantity column.
Save the file and return to the platform.
Click Import Products.
Upload the Excel file to the platform.
The system will show:
The number of products uploaded
The number of products not uploaded or missing quantities
Click Ignore and Continue if you want to upload the file without updating all quantities.
Or re-upload the file after adding quantities for all products.
4. Complete the Stock Count
After adding the counted quantities, the following data will appear automatically:
The difference between the platform quantity and the quantity you entered
The product cost value based on Rewaa’s recorded product cost
ℹ️ Note: Product cost affects the value of inventory and net income, whether increasing or decreasing.
Click Complete.
FAQs
Can I save the Stock Count and complete it later?
Yes, click Save for Later. You can complete it at any time.ℹ️ Note: If product quantities change due to sales, purchases, or returns during the pause, a message will appear at the top of the page when you resume Stock Count, indicating that the quantity has changed.
Can I edit the Stock Count after saving it?
No, editing a saved Stock Count is not available. You can create a new Stock Count to update quantities.How long does it take for quantities to be updated in the Products section?
Quantities update immediately in the Products section once the Stock Count is completed.
Can I perform a Stock Count for specific products only?
Yes, search for the product name or SKU in the search field. The product will appear, and you can count it using the same steps.
Can I perform a Stock Count for more than one branch at the same time?
No, you cannot count multiple branches at once. You must count each branch separately. Complete the Stock Count for the first branch, then move on to the second branch with the same steps.
Is there a report for Stock Count?
Yes, you can view the Stock Count Summary Report from:
Reports > Inventory > Stock Count Summary Report
Can I count tracked products using a barcode scanner or Excel file?
No, tracked products must be counted directly on the platform.
Can I connect a Stock Count device directly with Rewaa?
No, this feature is not available in Rewaa. You can share your suggestion through the Suggestions platform.
