A receipt voucher is a financial document that records the collection of payments from a customer, such as settling a credit invoice. You can access and print it anytime.
When Does a Receipt Voucher Appear?
A receipt voucher is automatically generated in Rewaa when a payment is received from a customer for a credit invoice, whether the customer settles the full or partial amount.
ℹ️ Note: In Rewaa, receipt vouchers are dedicated only to customer payments. If you need to issue a receipt for receiving products from a supplier before creating a purchase invoice, you can issue it from Inventory Vouchers.
Print a Receipt Voucher
Go to Sales & Customers > Customer Payments.
A list of receipt vouchers will appear, sorted by the most recent.
Search by invoice number or voucher number.
Click the 🖨️ icon.
Select the printer.
Click Print.
Save a Receipt Voucher as PDF
From the Customer Payments page, click the 🖨️ icon.
In the printer field, select Save as PDF.
Click Save.
The voucher will be saved on your device.

1. What does “Cash Register” mean on the receipt voucher?
It refers to the cash register used when receiving the payment, to confirm that the collected amount has been recorded and allocated to that register.
2. Does the company logo appear on the receipt voucher?
Yes. The company logo appears at the top of the voucher.
3. How can I add a note to the receipt voucher?
You can add a note while receiving the payment from the customer. For more details, click here.
4. Can I issue a backdated receipt voucher?
No. A receipt voucher can only be generated at the time of recording the payment in Rewaa.
5. Can I print a receipt voucher from the Rewaa Cashier app?
No. Receipt vouchers cannot be printed from the Rewaa Cashier app, as it is only designed for sales operations.
