You can activate Rewaa Pay on the Rewaa Cashier App in just a few steps to start accepting payments on any Android device with NFC support. This article explains all the details.
Definitions
NFC (Near-Field Communication): A technology that allows you to accept payments by tapping the card or mobile device on the terminal.
Sunmi V2s: The most common POS terminal, running Android and supporting NFC.
C9 Device: A cashier device running Android, supporting NFC and payment acceptance.
Activation Requirements
An active Rewaa Pay subscription.
An Android device with NFC support (e.g., Sunmi V2s, Cashier C9).
The Rewaa Cashier App installed on the Android device.
Activation Steps
Open the Rewaa Cashier App.
From the main menu, tap Rewaa Pay.
Open the register if it’s closed.
Tap Select Payment Gateway.
Tap Connect for the gateway you want to use.
Wait a few moments while the Payments Plugin (add-on) is automatically installed to connect with the gateway.
Once the option Disconnect appears, the gateway is successfully connected.
How to Use Rewaa Pay
Go to Registers.
Open the register.
Add products to the POS screen.
Tap Complete Sale.
Enter the customer’s name (optional).
Select the payment method Rewaa Pay.
Tap Pay.
Ask the customer to tap their card or mobile device on the terminal to complete the payment and issue the invoice.
View Reconciliation Details
Open the Rewaa Cashier App.
From the main menu, tap Rewaa Pay.
Click Reconciliation. The reconciliation details will be displayed immediately.
Tap Done after reviewing the details.

How to Print a Reconciliation
Open the Rewaa Cashier App.
From the main menu, tap Rewaa Pay.
Tap Reconciliations.
Select the reconciliation you want.
Tap Print Receipt. The receipt will be printed immediately.
FAQs
1. Does the payment gateway connection and Payments Plugin installation happen every time I log in?
No. The connection and plugin installation only happen once per POS device during the initial setup. You only need to repeat the process if the device is reset (factory reset).
2. While trying to pay with Rewaa Pay, I see the message: “Something went wrong, please try again.” What should I do?
This message appears if the payment gateway hasn’t been used for a while. To reactivate it:
Go to the Merchant Dashboard.
Open the Payment Gateway.
Click Download Full File to reactivate the gateway.
Return to the Rewaa Cashier App and continue the sale.
3. Can I print a sales receipt at any time?
Yes. From the main menu:
Tap Invoices.
Tap the print icon.
Select Sales Receipt, and the receipt will be printed immediately.
