Sometimes you may need to search for a specific product to review its details or update its data. The Products list allows you to access and manage all products you’ve added to the platform. In this article, you’ll learn about the available options.
Accessing the Products List
Go to Products & Inventory > Products.
All products you’ve added will appear.
Searching for Products
Search for a product using:
Product name
Category
Supplier
SKU
Barcode
Previewing Products
Click the 👁 icon in front of the product.
The product details will appear in a summarized view.
Customizing Columns
Click Customize Columns.
Check (✔) the fields you want to display.
Example: Last updated, wholesale price, retail price, cost, available quantity, and other details.Use the scroll bar under the table to view all columns.
Number of Rows
Click the numbers field below the products table.
Select the number of rows (products) you want to display per page (10, 25, 50, 100).
FAQs
1. I don’t remember the full product name or SKU, how can I search for it?
You only need to type part of the name or SKU, and the product will appear.
2. Why do I see multiple products with the same name?
Because you have products with similar names. Click the 👁 icon to check the details and differentiate them.
3. Can I search using the barcode scanner directly?
Yes. Click on the search field and scan the barcode using the scanner, and the product will appear.
4. If I customize the columns in my account, will they change for other users?
No, the customization applies to your account only.
5. If I added an extra field in the product data, will it appear in the columns?
Yes, you can select and display it using the same customization steps.
6. What does “Creation Date” mean?
It’s the date when the product was added to the platform.
7. What’s the difference between Product Name and Parent Product?
Product Name: Appears in the sales screen, invoices, and barcode.
Main Product: The main product name when adding variable products or bundled products.
8. Can the cashier search for products from the sales screen and view their details?
