You can print product barcodes from the Rewaa platform and attach them to products so they can be scanned using a barcode scanner. This makes it easier to find products during operations such as sales or inventory counting.
What is a Product Barcode?
A product barcode is a printed code consisting of parallel vertical black lines, with the product code displayed below them.
Before Printing
Make sure you have a dedicated barcode printer.
Make sure you have barcode labels in the appropriate size.
Make sure the printer is installed on the device used for printing.

Print Product Barcodes
Step 1: Access the Printing Option
Go to Products & Inventory > Products.
Select the checkbox (✔) next to the product or products whose barcodes you want to print.
Click Print Barcode.
Select the branch whose registered product information you want to print.
Click Continue.
Step 2: Specify the Number of Copies
Select the appropriate option:
A custom number for each product.
The same number for all selected products.
Based on the product quantity available in inventory.
Step 3: Select the Barcode Information
Select the information you want to print on the barcode:
SKU or barcode.
Expiry date.
Additional information: product name, retail price, barcode, and business name.
Step 4: Select the Barcode Template
Click Change Template.
Select the appropriate template size:
Default size (89 px × 190 px).
Medium (25 mm × 50 mm).
Large (50 mm × 100 mm).
Accessories (12 mm × 60 mm).
Custom size. Enter the width and height based on the barcode label size available to you.
⚠️ Note: The product price appears on the barcode either inclusive or exclusive of tax, based on the options configured in the platform settings. For more details, click here.
Step 5: Print the Barcode
Click Print.
Make sure the barcode printer name is selected.
Click the arrow next to More Settings.
Adjust the appropriate settings.
Click Print.

Enable Barcode Printing Permission for a User
To enable the permission:
Go to Settings > General > Roles & Permissions.
Select the appropriate role.
Click Edit Permissions.
From the Products list, enable Print Barcode Labels.
Click Save Changes.
ℹ️ Note: When this permission is enabled for a specific role, it becomes available to all users assigned to that role.

No. Product barcodes cannot be printed from the Rewaa Cashier app because it is a point-of-sale application designed only for cashier tasks.
