The Products section is where all products and services are added to the platform, and it is also where you can delete them. Sometimes you may need to delete a product due to incorrect data entry or to reorganize your products.
Instructions Before Deletion
⚠️ Before we begin, please note the risks of deleting products from the platform:
Deleting a product cancels its link with purchase invoices. Even if you re-add the product with the same SKU, the quantity will not update based on previously added purchase invoices. You will need to add the product quantity manually.
Deleting a product cancels its link with purchase return invoices. To return a deleted product to a supplier, re-add the product on the platform with the same SKU, manually add the quantity, and then complete the return process.
Deleting a Variable Product deletes all variants linked to it along with their stock quantities.
Deleting a Pack (Bundle) deletes the entire product and all associated packs. To delete only one pack: click on the main product > Pack Sizes > click (×).
Steps to Delete a Product
Go to Products & Inventory > Products.
Check the box (✔) next to the product(s) you want to delete.
Click Actions > Delete.
To delete all products on the page:
Check the box (✔) at the top of the table to select all products.
Click Actions > Delete.
To delete 100 products at once:
Click the number field at the bottom of the table.
Select 100.
Check the box (✔) at the top of the table to select all products.

FAQs
1. Does deleting a product affect previous sales or invoices?
No, deleting a product does not affect previous sales or invoices.
2. Can I re-add a product with the same SKU and restore all data?
When a product is deleted, you can re-add it with the same SKU, but previous data will not be restored, and the new product will not be linked to the deleted one.
💡 Example: If you add a product (Water) with SKU (9001245964) and then delete it, you can re-add it with the same SKU. However, sales and details for the deleted and new product will remain separate and will appear as two different products in reports.
3. Can I return a sales invoice for a deleted product?
Yes, you can. However, the product data will not reflect in inventory or affect past reports and figures because the product was deleted.
💡 Example: You sold 10 units of (Water) and then deleted the product. If you return the invoice, the sold or returned quantities will not update in reports because the product no longer exists.
4. If a product linked to an online store (Salla, Zid) is deleted from Rewaa, will it also be deleted from the online store?
No, it will not be deleted from the online store platform. However, it may affect the integration depending on the product type. For more details on the impact of deleting a linked product, click here.
