How to Configure Sales Settings for eCommerce Orders

Learn how to configure sales settings for eCommerce orders in Rewaa and how to activate them, including selecting the appropriate stage for issuing invoices.

When integrating with your eCommerce platform, you need to configure some settings in Rewaa to ensure orders are received correctly. This article covers the sales settings related to eCommerce orders and how to set them up.

⚠️ Note: Rewaa does not support multiple currencies. All orders will be in SAR only.

Accessing eCommerce Order Settings

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > eCommerce Orders.

  2. The settings page for eCommerce orders will appear.

  3. Click the toggle button in front of the desired setting.

  4. Click Save.


Available Settings

Sell When Quantity > Available

This option allows you to receive orders, complete sales, and issue invoices even if the requested quantity is higher than the available stock in Rewaa.

  • When enabled:

    • No error notification will appear for such orders.

    • Applies only to new orders.

    • Does not fix previous order errors related to insufficient quantity; those must be fixed manually.

Sell When Price < Cost

This option allows you to receive orders, complete sales, and issue invoices even if the selling price is lower than the cost price in Rewaa.

  • When enabled:

    • No error notification will appear for such orders.

    • Applies to all orders.

    • Fixes previous errors related to selling below cost.

Automatically issue invoices

This option allows you to define the stage at which invoices are issued automatically in Rewaa.

  • The default stage for invoice issuance is Ready For Pickup.

  • Automatic invoice issuance cannot be disabled, but you can select the stage at which the invoice is issued.

  • Once issued, invoices are reflected in reports, sales, and collected amounts.

⚠️ Note: After an invoice is issued in Rewaa, you can no longer make changes to the order, such as adding products, changing prices, or adding discounts.

FAQs

1. Can I activate the “Sell Below Cost” or “Sell When Quantity > Available” options for specific products only?

No. Once activated, these settings apply to all products in orders coming from the online store. They cannot be applied to specific products.

2. Sometimes I include free gifts or sell products at a discounted price below cost. Can I still issue invoices for these orders?

Yes. You can do so by ignoring the alert and continuing with the order and invoice issuance.

3. How do I know if the “Sell Below Cost” option is active?

If the toggle button appears green, the option is active. To disable it, click the toggle button again and then click Save.
