Track all your supplier transactions in one place

Learn about the Supplier Movement Report and how to export it to an Excel file.

The Supplier Movement Report helps you track all transactions made with suppliers on the platform, saving you time and effort from reviewing each supplier’s invoices separately. This report is updated automatically and in real time whenever any supplier-related transaction is made.

ℹ️ Note: If you want a general overview of suppliers and their transactions, refer to the Supplier Movement Summary Report.


Accessing the Report

  1. Go to Reports > Stock Control > Supplier Movement Report.

  2. Click on the report to view details.

Searching in the Report

You can search using:

  • Supplier name

  • Supplier phone number

Filtering Report Data

  1. Click Filter.

  2. You can filter results by:

    • Transaction date

    • Supplier name

    • Supplier phone number

    • Location

    • Transaction reference

    • Quantity per transaction

    • Amount paid/received

    • Responsible user

  3. Click Apply.

Sorting Data

  • Click on the Sort by field and choose the preferred order to display the data.

Report Data

Supplier Name

The supplier’s name as recorded in purchase or return invoices.

Supplier phone number

The supplier’s phone number.

Location

The branch listed in purchase or return invoices.

Transaction Reference

The purchase invoice number or return invoice number.

Transaction Date

The date the purchase or return invoice was issued.

Transaction quantity

The quantity added or returned in the purchase or return invoice.

Paid Amount | Received Amount

The amount paid for a purchase invoice or received from a return invoice. Updates automatically when a deferred payment is settled or when an amount is later received from the supplier.

User perform the action

The account that created the purchase or return invoice.

ℹ️ Note: The table contains multiple columns. Use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom to view all columns.

Exporting the Report

  1. Click Export.

  2. Select xlsx.

  3. The Excel file will be downloaded to your device.


FAQs

  1. Do manual journal entries for suppliers reflect in this report?
    No. This report is specific to purchase invoices or return invoices only.

  2. How can I view the transactions of one or multiple suppliers?
    Click Filter > Enter the supplier names > Apply.

  3. Can I view supplier transactions by a specific location?
    Yes. Click Filter > Enter the supplier name and select the location > Apply.
