Get to know the sales interfaces in Rewaa

Choose the sales interface that suits your products and learn how to use it.

Rewaa offers two Screen Layouts: classic design and Customized Layouts (Image Sales Interface). Each layout displays products differently, and you can assign the one that fits your sales register.


1. Classic design

The default layout for all sales registers. It relies on barcode scanners or manual product search. You can switch to the Customized Layouts (Image Sales Interface) if you prefer selecting products by their images.

How to use the classic design:

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Point of Sale.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Search for the product in the search field.

  4. Click the product name.

  5. Add the quantity manually, or scan the product barcode again.

To add extra options to a product:

  • Click the arrow next to the total price column.

  • Go to Extra Options.

  • Add the quantity for the extra option.

  • Complete the steps to issue the invoice.


2. Customized Layouts (Image Sales Interface)

Displays products based on categories and images that you previously uploaded in the Products section. To learn how to create an image layout, click here.

How to use the Customized Layouts (Image Sales Interface):

  1. Go to Sales & Customers > Point of Sale.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Select the category from the top bar.

  4. Click the product you want.

  5. Tap the product or the (+) icon to add the required quantity.

To add extra options to a product:

  • Click the product you want.

  • The extra options window will appear. Select the extras you want.

  • Enter the extra option quantity manually or tap repeatedly.

  • Click Add to Order.

  • Complete the steps to issue the invoice.


FAQs

1. How can I connect a barcode scanner to the platform?
It depends on the scanner model. Please refer to the user manual of your barcode scanner to set it up with your cashier device, then you can use it in Rewaa. For more help, contact our support team through in-app chat or WhatsApp.

2. Can I switch the sales interface at any time?
Yes. Just make sure to close the sales register, then select the layout you want.

3. If I change the sales interface from the main account, will it affect other users?
Yes. The selected layout applies to the entire sales register, and all linked users will see the change.

4. Can I delete a sales interface permanently?
Yes. Go to:

  • Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Selling Screen.

  • Click the 🗑️ icon.

  • Click Delete to confirm.
    This will only delete the sales interface, not the register itself.

5. Can I change product prices from the sales screen?
Yes.

  • In the classic design, click the price field and enter the new price.

  • In the Image Sales Interface, click the arrow on the left side of the screen next to the product details and update the price in the field.

ℹ️ Note: Changing the price from the sales screen does not affect the product price in inventory.

ℹ️ Note: If the new price is lower than the inventory price, the system will record it as a discount and it will appear on the invoice.

6. Can I change the prices of extra options in the sales screen?
No. Extra option prices can only be changed from the Products section.

7. Do extra options appear on the kitchen invoice?
Yes, extra options appear on the kitchen invoice.

8. How can I remove an extra option after adding it?
Change its quantity to (0).

9. How can I remove a product after adding it to the sales screen?

  • Click the 🗑️ icon next to the product.

  • Click the 🗑️ icon on the left side of the screen to remove all products.

10. I’m using a user account, but I can’t see the 🗑️ icon to remove products. Why?
This means your account doesn’t have permission. Please contact the main account holder to check your permissions.

11. How can I add product images?

  • Go to Products & Inventory > Products.

  • Click the product name.

  • Upload the images.

  • Click Save.

12. Can I use barcode scanners with the Image Sales Interface?
Yes. The search field is available in the Image Sales Interface, and you can use barcode scanners to add products.
