FAQs

1. How can I change the product cost after it’s added to the platform?

You cannot edit cost directly.

  • If it’s due to an input error: delete the product and re-upload it.

  • If the supplier purchase cost has changed: add the new purchase price in a purchase invoice, and the average cost will update automatically.

2. Why is the quantity field disabled even though I haven’t installed the Accounting app?

The quantity field is disabled by default to avoid manual changes that may cause errors. You can enable manual quantity editing in settings. For steps, click here.

3. Why can’t I edit product quantities manually after installing the Accounting app?

Because transactions are linked to accounting, and manual edits can cause errors. Use these methods instead:

  • To increase stock: use a purchase invoice.

  • To adjust stock up or down: use stocktaking or stock transfer.

4. Does editing product data affect the integration with e-commerce stores (Salla, Zid)?

The link remains active unless you change the SKU. If the SKU changes, the integration will be canceled automatically.

5. Do stock quantity changes on Rewaa affect e-commerce stores (Salla, Zid)?

Yes, changes sync directly (increase or decrease). The Rewaa product catalog is the main source of truth.

6. Can I copy product data to just one branch?

No. If multiple branches exist, the data will be copied to all branches.
