The Products Section (Inventory) in the Rewaa platform is where all products and services are added and managed. Occasionally, you might need to delete a product due to errors in the entered data or to reorganize the product listing.
Important Notes Before Deletion ⚠️ Deleting products has significant impacts:
Variable Products: Deleting a Variable product removes all associated types and their quantities from the inventory.
Products Sold in Packages: Deleting these products will also delete all their quantities.
Purchase Invoices: Deleting a product breaks its link with purchase invoices. This means that quantities won't automatically update, even if the product is re-added with the same SKU. Manual adjustments are required.
Return Orders (Purchase Refunds): Deleting a product breaks its link with return orders. To return quantities of a deleted product, re-add it to the inventory with the same SKU and manually adjust its quantities.
Reporting Implications: Deleting a product updates the inventory reports to show the change but does not affect historical sales records. Users should be aware of this distinction when managing inventory.

Reporting Implications When Deleting Products
Deleting products in Rewaa impacts certain reports while leaving others unchanged:
Sales Reports: Historical sales data remains intact and is not altered by product deletion. This ensures continuity in tracking sales performance.
Inventory Reports: Deletions and updates are documented in inventory-specific reports, reflecting changes to the inventory structure. This distinction helps users maintain accurate records while updating or reorganizing their inventory.
