Inventory counting is the process of verifying the actual quantities of your products in warehouses and branches and matching them with the quantities recorded in Rewaa. This process helps ensure your inventory data is accurate.
💡The Inventory Adjustment page has been merged with the Inventory Count page so you can easily adjust stock while counting — no need to switch pages.
Ways To Count Products on Rewaa
MANUAL PRODUCT COUNTING
Go to:
Products & Inventory > Stock Count > Create Stock Count
Add the count details:
Location: The branch where you’re counting products.
Count Name and Date: Auto-filled by default, but you can edit as needed.
Notes (optional)
Start counting:
Enter the actual quantity in the Counted column.
You’ll see the difference between the platform quantity and the actual quantity you entered.
ℹ️ If the counted quantity is less than what’s recorded in Rewaa, the difference will appear negative — this means you will take out the stock.
You’ll also see the cost value of the products you counted, based on the cost defined in the product details on Rewaa.
⚠️ Product cost impacts inventory value and net income — whether it increases or decreases.
Click Submit to complete the count.
COUNTING TRACKED PRODUCTS
If the product is tracked, a Count option appears in the Counted column for each tracked item.
Click Count to proceed.
For products tracked by lot number
Enter the available quantity in the Quantity column for each lot.
Click Save and continue counting.
For products tracked by serial number
You’ll see a list of serial numbers available in Rewaa.
Select the serial numbers you currently have by clicking the ✔ icon.
Click Save and continue counting.
FAQs
1. Can I save the count and continue later?
Yes, you can. Click Save for later and return to complete the count anytime.
ℹ️ If the product quantity changes due to a sale, purchase, or return while you’re paused, a notice will appear at the top of the page when you resume, alerting you to the change.
2. Can I edit the count after saving it?
No, editing is not available after saving. You’ll need to create a new count to update quantities.
3. How long does it take for the quantities to update in the Products section?
Quantities are updated immediately after completing the count.
4. Can I count specific products only?
Yes, you can. Use the search bar to find the product by name or SKU, then count it following the same steps.
5. Can I count multiple branches at the same time?
No, you can only count one branch at a time. Finish counting the first branch, then move on to the next.
6. Is there a report for inventory counts?
Yes, go to: Reports > Inventory > Inventory Count Summary Report.
7. Can I count tracked products using a barcode scanner or Excel file?
Unfortunately, no. Tracked products must be counted directly on the platform.
