How to Hold a Sales Invoice and Send the Order to the Kitchen

With the Hold Sale feature in the Rewaa Cashier app for Android devices, you can hold a sales invoice to issue it later or send the order to the kitchen first and issue the invoice afterward. This feature helps you organize sales operations and manage tables easily.

Hold a Sale

  1. Log in to the Rewaa Cashier app.

  2. Open the Register.

  3. Add the products to the sales screen.

  4. Tap Hold Sale. A window will appear with two sections:

    • Section 1: Add the customer name, notes, and any additional fields (if available).

    • Section 2: Choose the appropriate action:

      • Send the receipt to the kitchen and hold the sale.

      • Hold the sale only.

Continue a Sale

  1. Tap Continue Sale.

  2. A window will appear with two sections:

    • From the first section, select the sale you want to continue.

    • The second section will show the details of the selected sale.

  3. Tap Continue Sale. The products will appear on the sales screen.

  4. If you want to issue the sales invoice, follow the usual steps.

  5. If you want to add or remove products, make the changes and tap Pause Sale again.

Cancel a Held Sale

  1. Tap Continue Sale.

  2. Select the sale you want to delete.

  3. Tap Delete Sale.


FAQs

1. Is there a limit to the number of held sales?

No, there is no limit. You can hold multiple sales at the same time.

2. Can I hold a sale for more than one day?

Yes, you can hold a sale for up to 7 days. After that, the sale is automatically removed from the register.

3. If I log out of the app, will the held sales be deleted?

No, held sales will not be deleted. They remain saved on the same device.

4. Can I hold a sale on one device and continue it on another?

No, held sales are saved on the same device and cannot be resumed on another.

5. Can I hold a sale in offline mode?

Not at the moment. The Rewaa Cashier app does not currently support offline sales.
