How to Record Waste from the Sales Screen

You can record waste directly from the sales screen in the Rewaa Cashier app without needing to go to the browser or create a manual inventory count. This feature helps you record waste cases during daily operations quickly and accurately.

How Does the Waste Feature Work?

When waste is recorded from the sales screen, a stock count is created automatically on the platform, and the quantities are deducted directly from the product.

Steps to Record Waste

  1. Sign in to the Rewaa Cashier app.

  2. Open the sales register.

  3. Add the wasted product and quantity on the sales screen.

  4. Click Record Waste.

  5. Add notes.

  6. Click Record Waste.

  7. Click Confirm.

The waste has been recorded successfully, and the inventory count has been created automatically on the platform.

  1. Why is the “Record Waste” option disabled?

    The Record Waste option is enabled after adding at least one item to the sales screen. Add a product first to enable the option.

    Yes. You can add multiple products to the sales screen and record them in the same waste transaction.
